Submerged

Forever is near

and the journey in fear

grips this heart;

but not the depart.

“Open thee a window,

please pass now, you haze;

afore comes the shadow

are stars to amaze.”

Taking last of this time,

the see, hear and touch,

what was so sublime

is now not so much.

Submerged here in bliss;

part of the abyss.
