Submerged

Forever is near

and the journey in fear

grips this heart;

but not the depart.

“Open thee a window,

please pass now, you haze;

afore comes the shadow

are stars to amaze.”

Taking last of this time,

the see, hear and touch,

what was so sublime

is now not so much.

Submerged here in bliss;

part of the abyss.

Knowing

Is this the day

when we understand

the movers and shakers,

the seeing, the blind,

the givers, the stealers?

Who comes in the night,

who manages the embers,

where shadows would be,

how comes the cold air,

when will we see?

But here are the answers,

the dreams that we pilfer

from days were curtailed,

the essence of cycles

and spells to reveal.

Now, knowing solutions

to ever and all,

is beginning the ending,

where soul is creation

and mind its repose?

let me explain

invisible to you, me

so … free

“As entanglement might allow,”

thinks, with a furrowed brow

maybe we could hide,

“But what of our pride?”

then what to do with your

sources, more

resources than

the honest can

muster

in this lacklustre

role we play

today

where they press the switch

(response is to twitch)

let me explain

where cometh your pain

living here among

furthermore, just a slip of the tongue

Cool

When forever seems too close

for comfort, and today’s beginning

remained in darkness, look into the eyes

of someone close by, known or unknown.

Then forever will seem brief,

darkness will be the sun, and

life will be cool.

message

when shit hit the man

a fine placed imbue

where all was began

its world, a début

chasing the scream

run, twat boy, run

unpicking the seam

but simply for fun

if only the way

twas meant not to be

a life full of play

of you and agree

close now to the end

the end of the pier

this message to send

but words are a smear

Listen

When the

tune hits the spot

then you know

you’ve got

what it’s all about;

no need to shout,

or show.

As you look

at the sky,

“Fuck!”

”Why?”

And then you’ve found

the sound

of someone telling you, “Who’d know?”

But please don’t ever crow,

for the music of a star

is too far.

So take the time

to listen.

Life will glisten.

Sublime …
