A Special Day

It was a special day,
not to tell or stray.
Such a singular day was to touch
in a moment of so much
that I don’t understand at all.

The day was too short.
Still, profoundness will distort,
and the very absence of words
- so existentially absurd!
But who needed a communication wall?

The day has gone;
a day we all were one.
Now the years and the mystery will remain,
as inviolate as we are sane.
Hey, these beautiful reflections are all to call.
